Plans and payment
The three plans and how they differ, paying in USDT (TRC-20), your account and the license key.
Plans
The set of modules is the same on every plan — the plan only decides where the server runs and who maintains it.
| Plan | What it is | How it's paid |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud | an instance with us at name.me.rivo.day, 14 days free | subscription: monthly, or yearly at a discount |
| Managed VPS | a dedicated server we set up and maintain (when the plan is open on the site), see Managed VPS | subscription: monthly, or yearly at a discount |
| Self-host | you install it on your own server | one-time: a perpetual license with 12 months of updates, then updates renew by the year |
Current prices are in the Pricing section on the home page: they come from the license server, so we don't repeat them here.
Self-host without renewed updates keeps working on the installed version without limits — see Updates, backup and restore.
Customer account
Your customer account holds licenses, instances and payments. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email — no password.
The license key is shown once — right after it's issued. After that you see only a mask, RIVO-…-XXXXX: we keep a fingerprint of the key, not the key itself, so "reminding" you of it is impossible. Lost it — reissue: the new key is shown once and the old one stops working.
Paying in USDT (TRC-20)
- The license card in your account shows a permanent USDT address on the TRC-20 network. Save it in your wallet once and renew later by simply sending to it.
- Issue an invoice for the period you need: the amount is fixed when the invoice is issued and isn't recalculated afterwards.
- Send exactly the invoice amount. Anything above the invoice goes to your advance balance.
You can cancel an unpaid invoice in the invoice history; money already paid goes back to the advance.
If payments aren't set up
Prices are visible, but instead of payment buttons you'll see "Request an invoice". Write to [email protected] and we'll send one by hand.
If the Cloud isn't paid on time
The instance becomes read-only until the invoice is paid. What happens next is in Getting started.
