Money and a payment plan, liabilities and investments, a password vault, calendar, assistant and contacts — in a single instance that runs on your side. Not a service you hand your data to, but software running on your own hardware.
For people who keep their own books: sole proprietors and small companies, freelancers with several income streams, owners of several projects at once.
One-command install on Ubuntu 22.04/24.04. Updates and backups with built-in commands.
What’s inside
Sections that cover a founder’s day
Each section is a separate module: switch off what you don’t need and it stays out of the way.
Money
Accounts, cards and wallets in one list, a feed of bank-confirmed transactions and manual edits, and transfers between your own accounts that are never counted twice.
Balances across all accounts and currencies
Statement import and manual entry
Categories and parsing rules
Payment plan
A look ahead: what gets charged and when, what comes in, where the cash gap is. Recurring payments are set up once.
Calendar of payments and income
Cash gaps known in advance
Mark as paid from the feed or from chat
Liabilities and investments
Loans, credit cards, instalments and debts with schedules and balances. Positions and revaluations — to see your net worth, not just a card balance.
Repayment schedules and balances
Money owed to you and by you
Net worth as a single number
Password vault
Logins, passwords, keys and access details. End-to-end encryption is turned on in the vault settings: then the key to your passwords lives only on your devices, and the server stores them encrypted.
End-to-end encryption, your choice
One-time codes (TOTP)
Strength and reuse checks
Calendar and Google
Two-way sync with Google Calendar: events, attendees, meeting links, invitations and replies — right from the dashboard.
Google Meet and invitations
Recurrence and drag-and-drop
Payments and meetings in one grid
Assistant
Write in plain language — “paid the kindergarten”, “how much is my own money” — and the assistant answers from your data and records transactions in the ledger, not in a note.
Works on the web and in Telegram
Your own model key or our proxy
A repeated message never doubles an expense
Contacts and leads
People, companies and agreements: who, about what, when the next step is. A simple pipeline with no fields for the sake of fields.
A profile for every contact
Leads and next steps
Linked to payments and meetings
Documents and registry
A knowledge base with a tree and links, a registry of reference data: accounts, categories, legal entities, rules. Everything lives in your database.
Editor with tables and links
Graph of links between records
Exported together with the backup
Why your own server
Finances and passwords should not live with a contractor
We sell software and updates, not access to your data. Hence the design: the instance is yours, the keys are yours, and we know exactly as much about you as a license check requires.
Your data stays with you
The instance runs on your VPS: Postgres, files and backups are on your disk. We need no access for the product to work.
Passwords can be hidden from the server too
Turn on end-to-end encryption in the vault and the key to your passwords stays only on your devices: a copy of the database is not enough to read them. Bot and integration keys you mark as service entries remain readable by the server — otherwise it could not hand them out without you.
Modules switch on and off
Don’t need CRM or the infrastructure sections? They take no space in the menu. The set of modules is defined by the license and the instance settings.
Backups and migration
Scheduled backups, one-command restore, moving to another server — without us and without losing history.
Passwords
You turn on end-to-end vault encryption
A new instance starts with a server-side key, so the vault works right away, without a master password. A wizard in the vault settings moves it to end-to-end encryption: entries are encrypted in the browser, each one is verified, and only then the mode switches.
When end-to-end encryption is on, the key to your passwords exists only on your devices. The server — us as its operator, the hosting provider, anyone who steals a copy of the database — stores passwords, logins, notes, 2FA codes and hidden fields only in encrypted form and cannot read them.
The server does not see
Passwords and logins
Notes and hidden field values
2FA seeds and one-time codes
Your master password and recovery code — they never leave the device
The server sees
Entry titles, website addresses and tags — the list, search and reminders run on them
Field names and non-hidden values, dates and the access log
“Weak”, “breached” and “reused” badges — without the passwords themselves
Service entries — bot and integration keys you marked as such
Lose both the master password and the recovery code and your personal entries cannot be restored by anyone — not us, not the server admin. After the switch the server keeps a rollback snapshot with logins and notes in plain text; the promise fully applies once that snapshot is deleted.
Devices
Browser, iPhone and passwords on any site
The app and the extension connect to your instance by its address — data goes to the same place as from the dashboard.
Passkey and Face ID
On the web a passkey — Touch ID, Face ID or a hardware key — replaces the PIN when you open vault secrets. The iPhone app locks with Face ID and signs in with a passkey.
Adding another key or revoking one requires biometrics
Passkeys in the app cover <name>.me.rivo.day addresses; on your own Self-host domain it signs in with a PIN and opens the vault with a PIN plus a code from the dashboard
iPhone app
Money, the payment plan, the password vault, calendar and assistant — on your phone. Two Home Screen widgets: “Money today” — what is yours now and free until payday, “Upcoming payments” — the next three charges.
The widget reads a snapshot left by the app — it has no network access or token of its own
Amounts hidden in the app stay hidden in the widget
On the App Store — soon
Browser extension
Chrome, Firefox and Safari: logins and passwords from the vault on websites, 2FA codes in one click, an offer to save new sign-ins. Without your confirmation it fills only an entry whose address matches the site.
Works with end-to-end encryption too: decrypts on your side
Revoke the extension in the vault, under devices

Installation
One command on a clean server
The installer checks the server, installs Docker and Postgres, generates secrets, brings up a web server with automatic HTTPS and prints the link to your instance.
Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, 1 GB of RAM or more (2 GB recommended). The domain’s A record must point to this server — the certificate is issued automatically.
02
Install command
Run the line above with your own domain and email. Re-running is safe: secrets and data are not overwritten.
03
First sign-in
The wizard creates the owner, asks for currency and time zone, and accepts the license key from your customer account.
Don’t want to deal with a server? We’ll set it up for you. Details on installation, updates and backups are on the installation guide page.
Pricing
Pricing per instance
The set of modules is the same on every plan — the plan only defines where the server runs and who maintains it. Payment in USDT (TRC-20 network): an invoice locks the amount when it is issued, no retroactive rate changes.

FAQ
What people ask before buying
What do I need to install it?
A server with Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, at least 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended) and 20 GB of free space, and a domain with an A record pointing to that server. Everything else — Docker, Postgres, a web server with HTTPS — is installed and configured by the installer.
Can you see my data?
On Self-host — no: the instance runs on your server and we never connect to it. Only the license check reaches us: instance ID, domain and version — no transactions, contacts or passwords. On Managed VPS and Cloud the server is ours — what is stored there and why is described in the privacy policy. In every case passwords can be hidden from the server too: turn on end-to-end encryption in the vault.
What happens if I don’t renew?
Self-host has no subscription: the license is bought once and never expires, and only updates can optionally be renewed. If you don’t renew, the instance keeps working as before — it just gets no new versions. On Cloud and Managed VPS there is a 14-day grace period after the paid period ends, during which everything works as usual. After that the instance becomes read-only: your data stays in place, export and backups are available, new records cannot be created. Pay — and everything is switched back on.
What if the server loses its internet connection?
The instance confirms the key once a day and keeps the signed response. Without a connection to us it keeps working for 14 days — enough for a migration or a provider outage.
Can I move the instance to another server?
Yes. Unlink the old instance in your customer account, install Rivo on the new server and restore the backup. The license seat is released immediately.
Is there a mobile app?
The iPhone app is ready and connects to your server by the instance address, with two Home Screen widgets. App Store publication is still in progress — once there is a link, it will be here and in your account.
Can I try it before paying?
Installation is free: bring up an instance with one command and look at the interface. The modules need a license key to work. Trial terms are being finalised — write to us and we will sort it out.
I can’t administer a server
The Cloud and Managed VPS plans are exactly the turnkey option: server, domain, HTTPS, backups and updates are on us. You administer the server yourself only on the Self-host plan — there the data lives on your own hardware. Cloud is opening soon — leave your email on the sign-up page and we will write to you at launch.
